When you use your mouse to 'scrub' the text size/leading/tracking/kerning values up/down it is jumping about 40-50 pt at a time - it used to only jump a few pt at a time, so now it's not really usable - you have to manually type changes into the size/leading/tracking/kerning fields Is there a fix for this, or a setting I'm unaware of? This is in Photoshop 26.5.0 and I've only noticed it recently, so assume it's this (or closely previous) version

I'm using the Wiggle effect to make some icons shake. I want them to start slow and then for the speed to increase to a crescendo, then slow down again. I'm just keyframing the speed attriubute and it's just not working as expected. The speed sort of increases, but then doesn't smothly slow down - it kinda goes crazy at the the 'fast' keyframe and then suddenly slows, it doesn't graduall decelarate as it should. Keyframgin the 'amount' works fine, but it's the speed I want to control. I've tried using a wiggle expression instead, using sliders to control the 'frequency' but I get the same issue. Is there a known issue (and workaround) for decreasing wiggle speed?

Nope. The duplicate "are you sure you want to replace it?" message seems to have now gone/been fixed (23.3.1), but 'cancel' is still the default highlighted option.

Just to clarify, when it wasn't working, I tested numerous PSDs that I knew had worked in previous projects, all created the same crash scenario. I've now created a few new files to test various times and it works each time now. Maybe a corrupted system file or something? I also purged all cache files. Either way, everything seems to be workig fine now.

Hi Nishu - thanks for replying. Long story short, it's working again. No idea what the issue was but after I'd used AE on my PC to import the PSD, I reopened the file on my mac to continue working on it. I've been editing the file fine now on my Mac with no issues and have even imported more PSDs (again on the Mac) and it seems to work fine again. Must have been a temporary glitch of some kind?

Just to be clear, as I seem to have been misunderstood by someone (perhaps they have not read the OP prolery) and this thread has become muddied. I'm not asking about adding file name extensions, nor am I looking for a 'workaround' - I'm trying to fix an issue that is causing me an inconvenience. I'm concerned with the highlighting of the full filename AND extension when saving to web. When saving a file, the filename ONLY used to be highlighted. That meant that with one tap of the <right-arrow>, the cursor was now at the end of your existing filename and before any file extension, '.jpg' for example. The means that if saving out numerous images or versions from one file (for example, a web banner 'banner.psd' with mutiple copy versions) you could 'save for web' (banner.jpg), then tap the <right arrow> key and type 'a' (or, b, c, d... for example) and hit <return> quickly enabling you to quickly save out 'bannera.jpg, bannerb.jpg, bannerc.jpg' etc. Now you have to either type in the full name again, or tap <right arrow> once to put the cursor at the end of the filename AND extension, then <left arrow> 4 times to bring the cursor back to the end of your existing filename. It might not sound like a big issue for someone, but it's a time waster for me (if it were not an issue I would not be trying to find a fix) If anyone is able to provide a possible solution (not just a 'workaround', thanks), then I'm all ears and will be grateful to hear it. I hope that's clear, I hope I'm not the only one with this issue and I hope someone knows the answer 🙂

So, proportional scaling used to be non-defualt (you used to have to hold shift to scale proportionally) Then they changed it so proportional scaling WAS the default... and I got used to it. But now (PS 22.5.0) it's NOT default anymore. You have to hold shift again, There's an option in 'preferences > general' to toggle on/off 'Use Legacy Free Transform' but that doesn't seem to have any effect Anyone know what's going on? I got used to having thing scale proportionally by default and would now like it back

I've noticed that when you export a canvas file on a retina screen, bitmap images all look fine at any scale, but on a non-retina screen, images that are 100% or 50% scaled look fine, but any other scale and they look low quality/pixellated. Is there a workaround/fix to this?
